After looking so good in the preseason, the Packers' offense is now struggling, averaging a modest 4.7 yards per play against Chicago and Cincinnati. However, the Bears and Bengals both are good defensive teams, which can not be said of the Rams, who appear to still be among the league's worst stop units by giving up 5.9 yppl to mediocre offensive teams Seattle and Washington.

The Rams are also struggling on offense (just 4.6 yppl), but RB Steven Jackson has been good in averaging 5.2 ypr and he should perform well against a mediocre Packers' run defense that gave up 151 rushing yards at 4.4 ypr last seek to the Bengals.

Green Bay has also allowed 7.0 yards per pass play, but I still rate their pass defense as pretty good. My ratings favor Green Bay by 6 1/2 points, which is right at the spread, but the Rams apply to a 175-93-5 ATS statistical indicator that has me leaning their way.
