Jan 12, 2016A father has banned video games from his home after his 17-year-old son unwittingly spent $7,625.88 (£5,255.03) on the popular football game FIFA.
Lance Perkins made the drastic vow after receiving the huge bill for in-game purchases in the post.
"It floored me. Literally floored me, when I'd seen what I was being charged," he told CBC News (via Albaraa Fahmy on Digital Spy). "He thought it was a one-time fee for the game.
