Video: Rugby Union Player Celebrates After Crossing 5-Metre Line, Doesn't Score

Brixham rugby player Tom McLean had a bad day on Saturday.

In his team's 6-0 defeat to Barnstaple, he had the tryline at his mercy but misjudged and instead dove over the 5-metre line.

Without realising the mistake he had made, McLean began to celebrate.

Instead of being embraced by jubilant team-mates, McLean was swallowed up by Barnstaple defenders who had not been fooled.

To be fair to the guy, it was very muddy.
