Dejan Lovren Believes Liverpool Fans Regret Their Initial Opinions About Him

Dejan Lovren initially struggled when he made his £20 million move from Southampton to Liverpool. However, the Croatian—who currently occupies the Reds' crowded physio room—has come into better form, which has prompted him to reevaluate the way he is seen by fans.

In an interview given to Croatian outlet Sportske, Lovren stated his belief that fans now appreciate his contributions—and that they regret their previous criticisms. The Daily Mail's Richard Arrowsmith translates:

But Liverpool is a big club, and expectations are high, so it is normal that you are going to be criticised.
