Steve Smith Wants Both Bengals and Steelers to Lose Wild Card Game on Saturday

Never doubt that Steve Smith Sr. is a Baltimore man.

With his own Ravens' season coming to a close, Smith took time to discuss the weekend's upcoming battery of NFL playoff matchups.

When asked to choose between his AFC North rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers or Cincinnati Bengals, the veteran wide receiver refused to be shoehorned into supporting either, instead coolly replying that he hopes both foes lose.

Unfortunately for Smith, his wish will never come true as, inevitably, either the Steelers or Bengals, who face off Saturday, will advance to next week's divisional round.

A man can dream, though, can't he? Just give him credit for vocalizing what many like him around the country, particularly in Maryland, are thinking.
