Justin Bieber Really Wants Chris Paul to Get in All-Star Game
It always helps to have friends in high places, and with around 73 million Twitter followers, pop star Justin Bieber can probably pull more than a few strings.
On Thursday, he chose to recruit his legions of fans to support Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul, who the Biebs would like to see play in the 2016 NBA All-Star Game. The game will take place in Toronto, near Bieber's hometown.
As of Thursday's tally, CP3, the third-place Western Conference guard, was light years behind reigning MVP Stephen Curry (or 657,117 votes short) and significantly trailing (by 210,840) the Oklahoma City Thunder's Russell Westbrook for one of the two starting guard spots on the All-Star roster.
Looks like the "Sorry" singer still thinks he can help his friend get in there.
For a guy who has taken hits in the past for his lack of loyalty to any particular team, it seems clear—at least for now—where his allegiances lie.
