That's how Arsenal fan Beej Kean decided to toast his own wedding, sharing a heartfelt tribute presumed by all to be directed at his new bride. Only it wasn't.

Instead, the touching words were directed at Arsenal midfielder Ozil, with the German's 16 assists so far this season playing a pivotal role in the Gunners' climb to the top of the Premier League.

Fortunately, the joke seemed to go down well with the large crowd of family and friends. The spurned bride might not forget it in a hurry, though.

Kean's audacious stunt took another boost on Saturday, when Ozil himself congratulated the newlyweds.
