Manchester United Transfer News: Latest Felipe Anderson, Ander Herrera Rumours
Manchester United's imminent capture of Lazio's Felipe Anderson has reportedly been delayed by a bonus dispute between the winger and his current club. Ā
According to Goal.com's Kris Voakes, Anderson is entitled to a small percentage of any accepted offer for him over his £35 million buyout clause, but Lazio are not willing to pay out the bonus immediately.
As a result, the report indicates the 22-year-old Brazilian is opting to wait to make a decision on the United transfer until he knows Lazio's final position on his bonus payment.

It is certainly an inconvenience for United, who are surely eager to bring in reinforcements as soon as possible, but there is still plenty of the January transfer window remaining for issues to be ironed out.
Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe believes Anderson can add some necessary verve to United's currently stale attack and is confident the Red Devils will eventually pull off the move:
He is far from the finished article and has struggled somewhat this season, netting four times and providing just one assist in Serie A, per WhoScored.com.Ā
However, Lazio as a whole have not been their bestāthey are currently 10th in the Italian top flightāand United manager Louis van Gaal will hope to see Anderson slot straight into his side, if and when he moves to Old Trafford.
He will certainly provide the Dutchman with further options out wide as he can play on either flank, and he could be a useful addition in allowing Van Gaal to rotate his forward line in the second half of the season.

Elsewhere, Ander Herrera is reportedly being targeted by Serie A champions Juventus, who are looking to sign him in the current transfer window.
Per theĀ DailyĀ Telegraph, he has been scouted recently by BianconeriĀ bossĀ Massimiliano Allegri, as well as club directors Fabio Paratici and Pavel Nedved, and the Turin giants are preparing a £25 million offer for the Spanish playmaker.Ā
The report indicates United value Herrera at closer to £40 million, but considering his quality, the Manchester outfit should surely not even be considering selling him.
However, he is bafflingly underused by Van Gaal, and the 26-year-old has made just nine starts this season in the Premier League despite his positive influence being obvious whenever he is on the pitch.
His lack of aĀ guaranteedĀ starting spot must surely be frustrating, and he may be interested in a potential move, while Van Gaal could perhaps be tempted into selling him, as he uses him mainly as a squad player.
It would be a huge mistake for United to sellĀ Herrera, though, as he is one of their only consistently inventive and reliable players in attack.
