Ty Lawson Injury: Updates on Pacers Guard's Foot and Return

Indiana Pacers point guard Ty Lawson suffered a foot sprain March 7 against the San Antonio Spurs and had been out of action since. However, he's ready to return.

The team announced Lawson will be available against Toronto on Thursday.


Struggling Lawson Looking to Bounce Back with Pacers

The Pacers signed Lawson after the Houston Rockets bought out his contract March 1, ending a disappointing spell with the team. In 53 games for Houston, the 28-year-old averaged 5.8 points and 3.4 assists a game.

Monday was his first game with Indiana. His first assist came with a little under 25 seconds remaining in the first quarter, via the Pacers:

In order for Lawson to turn this season around, he'll need to be a healthy and productive member of the Pacers backcourt. That starts against Toronto on Thursday.
