Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams underwent knee surgery on Nov. 10. He last played in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens and is ready to return.

The Steelers announced that Williams was available for Week 16.

Williams Struggling to Shake Injury Bug

This is another setback for Williams, who was carted off the field in Week 17 last season and missed the playoffs. He also appeared in only six games for the Carolina Panthers in 2014.

He has rushed for 276 yards and three touchdowns this year—with the majority of his production coming during Le'Veon Bell's league-imposed three-game suspension at the start of the season.
