WWE Raw: Live Results, Reaction and Analysis for January 4

Welcome to Bleacher Report's live WWE Raw coverage for January 4.

This will be the first show of the new year, and WWE is getting things going with a big main event featuring Roman Reigns defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus.

To make things even worse for the champ, Vince McMahon will serve as the special guest referee. After how things went down last week, it's safe to assume McMahon won't be calling this one down the middle.

We can also expect more Superstars to declare their intentions to win the Royal Rumble. We're just under three weeks away from the pay-per-view, and that is when the big storylines begin to form.

Will The New Day be out for revenge after they were embarrassed on SmackDown?
