Noel Gallagher Poses with Sand Sculpture of New Manchester City Crest

Noel Gallagher is currently relaxing on a beach with the Indian Ocean lapping on his feet, but the former Oasis star appears to have an extravagant reminder of home with him.

The notorious Manchester City fan has posted an image on Instagram of himself and his son posing on holiday with a giant sand sculpture of his team's new crest.

The High Flying Birds frontman made it clear he did not build the impressive tribute to the Citizens, but some might say he commissioned it. Or should that be sand might say? Ahem.

Gallagher is clearly a big fan of the new crest, and this sculpture might be a less painful alternative to his original suggestion for promoting it:
