Arsenal Fan Names Daughter After His Favourite Club Without Wife Realising

One dedicated Arsenal fan took his love for the Gunners to another level when he named his daughter after the club—without his wife even realising it.

The unwitting mother happily agreed to name her daughter Lanesra, thinking it was a unique and romantic name, but she was unaware it was in fact Arsenal spelt backwards.

It took the duped mother two years to realise the true origin of the name, as she confessed when she wrote to a magazine's letters page.

It is a nice name, to be fair.
