Prior to Week 17, the New York Jets were in position to clinch a playoff spot in the Wild Card Round as long as they could win against their former head coach Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills. Ryan and the Bills prevailed at home at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday, 22-17, spoiling the Jets' playoff hopes and ending their season.
