Tom Brady Shows Support After Tuukka Rask Honors Him with Goalie Mask

Game recognizes game—with mixed results. 

After Boston Bruins star goaltender Tuukka Rask showed off his Tom Brady-emblazoned customized Winter Classic mask, the legendary quarterback wanted to offer the same respect.

In anticipation of the outdoor rivalry matchup between the Bruins and Montreal Canadiens—taking place on Brady's home turf, Gillette Stadium—No. 12 announced via an amusing edited Facebook photo that he'd be showing his support by wearing Rask's pads when the New England Patriots face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

A uniform swap isn't likely on the horizon, but after injuries have left gaps in many NFL rosters (particularly the Pats'), it may be in Brady's best interest to consider wearing some of the goalie pads to preserve his team's repeat Super Bowl bid.
