Manchester United Fan Loses Bet over Louis Van Gaal's Job, Drinks His Own Urine
"Thanks to Ed Woodward and the Man United board," a Red Devils fan has followed through on a brave promise to drink his own urine.
According to Aaron Flanagan of the Mirror, Seamus Bannon made a bet on Twitter that United boss Louis van Gaal would no longer be in charge for the side's home match against Chelsea on Monday.
He made his prediction as United slumped to a 2-0 defeat at Stoke on Boxing Day, consigning Van Gaal's side to a fourth successive defeat.
Unfortunately for Bannon, the United board was more patient than the club's fanbase.
Fair play to the Irishman, who committed to his wager with a video posted to Facebook and verified by a sheepish witness, a Liverpool fan called Brian.
We're thinking Seamus will be more careful before making bold predictions in future.
