Krejci Active vs. Canucks
Thursday, Jan. 21
The Bruins announced Krejci will be in the starting lineup against the Vancouver Canucks.
Earlier in the day, Boston announced that they activated Krejci from the injured reserve and assigned Frank Vatrano to the AHL.
Krejci's Return Will Be Major Boost for Bruins
The Czech forward entered Dec. 29 as Boston's leading assist man with 22, and he was tied for the team lead in points with Patrice Bergeron at 33.
Since Krejci missed an extended period of time, there was never any question that it would put the Bruins in an extremely difficult position. However, they still hold the Eastern Conference's top wild-card spot with 53 points, though the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators have 50 points and sit just outside the playoff picture.
