Gary Kubiak Says He Would Vote for Antonio Brown for MVP
The NFL is a quarterback-driven league, but Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak made the case for someone at a different position to be this year's Most Valuable Player.
"I know who I'd be voting for right now for MVP," Kubiak told reporters Wednesday, alluding to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, per the Denver Post's Cameron Wolfe. "Watching that kid play—I mean, he's something else."
Kubiak knows firsthand just how much damage Brown can inflict on an opposing secondary after the 27-year-old caught 16 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns for the Steelers in a 34-27 victory over the Broncos on Sunday.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While Brown has been the best receiver in the league in 2015 and a human highlight reel, his chances of winning the Associated Press MVP award are slim.
A wide receiver has never earned the honor, which is somewhat astonishing when you consider a kicker (Mark Moseley in 1982) and a defensive tackle (Alan Page in 1971) each won MVP in the past.
Not only is Brown in a fight against history, but Cam Newton also will be nearly impossible to unseat as this year's favorite for the award. ESPN's Adam Schefter is already sold on the Carolina Panthers quarterback:
Newton has helped the Panthers post a 14-0 record and is second in passing touchdowns despite the fact that Devin Funchess, Ted Ginn Jr. and Jerricho Cotchery are his top three wide receivers.
You can understand why Kubiak made an MVP argument for Brown, but the trophy is Newton's to lose at this point in the season.
