UK Back Pages: Everton Set for £200M US Takeover Within Weeks

There is a lot of speculation about Manchester United in the back pages again on Wednesday, but the Times has gone with a completely different story. 

It claims that Everton are set to be taken over by an American-led consortium and that a deal could be done within six weeks, with a Head of Terms agreement having already been signed. 

The Telegraph also goes elsewhere for its lead, as it claims both Manchester City and Chelsea are interested in Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy. 

But Louis van Gaal's Manchester United future remains the biggest story with most, even if the papers struggle to move the story on in any significant way.
