Blackhawks Release Christmas Yule Log Video Complete with Lightsaber Dueling

If you're one of the many people around the world with more Wi-Fi than fireplaces, you'll know that the Yule log video, as a genre, is in the tail end of its golden age.

It's probably safe to say that cozy-fireside videos peaked earlier this month with Nick Offerman's 44-minute staredown, sponsored by whisky and more whisky. That was a pretty good, unnerving video.

But before you cement your Christmas Day background media, let's consider one more #YuleTape: a 24-minute log-burning session courtesy of the Chicago Blackhawks—complete with holiday cheer, demons and chopping-lightsaber action!

Yep, the Blackhawks did a Yule log video. Every few minutes a new player arrives. Jonathan Toews puts together the Christmas tree. Patrick Kane stands solemnly in a candy cane outfit, nipping at what I assume is a half-and-half of hot chocolate and Rumple Minze.
