Taking a break from preparing for the Fiesta Bowl, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes helped make one young fan's wish come true.
Kevin Jones, now five years old, was diagnosed with a life-threatening blood disorder at the age of one. He has already had tumors twice, staying brave throughout the process.
Thanks to the Buckeyes, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Good Day Columbus, Kevin (and his family) recently received an unforgettable experience.
Kevin toured Ohio State's facilities, including the locker room and practice field. He also met Buckeyes stars J.T. Barrett and Joey Bosa—oh, and some guy named Urban Meyer.
Meyer played some football with Kevin at the practice facility, but he had a surprise in store for the Jones family. The Ohio State coach gave Kevin and his family tickets to the Fiesta Bowl, where the Buckeyes will play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Jan. 1.
