Michigan Coach Jim Harbaugh Watched 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' at Midnight
There's a little Star Wars geek in all of us, isn't there? I can attest to it, and so can Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh.
Harbaugh must be a huge fan, as he was at the midnight showing of the recently released seventh episode, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He was a little upset that his good friend Darth Vader didn't make an appearance, though.
----------Update: Monday, Dec. 21----------
Harbaugh reportedly enjoyed the new installment, with one exception—it didn't have "[his] boy" Darth Vader.
The Michigan coach told WXYZ-TV's Brad Galli he was impressed but that it wasn't quite the same without the villain, per the Detroit Free Press' Mark Snyder:
"That's my guy, that's my boy. Because I love him. I love Darth Vader. He's just relentless, he's a jackhammer. James Earl Jones, the voice of God. You would be disappointed if God did not have a better or equal voice to James Earl Jones. ... I was impressed, this was a good Star Wars. But (without Darth Vader), not quite the same. I thought they would have found some way to get him back in there. He had a good run. They had the one shot of the new...I don't want to give anything away.
"
Early reviews of the film have been very good, and we'll wait to see if Harbaugh has anything else to say about it.
