Did Jose Mourinho Send a Decoy from Chelsea Training Ground After Sacking?

Jose Mourinho sure has an incredible knack when it comes to winding up the media.

After the Portuguese manager was sacked as Chelsea boss on Thursday, his lowest moment was captured by the press gathered at the Cobham Training Ground.

Or so they thought.

Some top-shelf detective work suggests Mourinho might have sent a decoy so he could escape quietly.

The Independent's Tom Sheen said that because of the absence of a wedding ring, the colour of his stubble and inconsistencies in hair, the man photographed in the same car Mourinho arrived in might not have been him.

BBC Sport's Mike Henson agreed, adding that Mourinho's watch doesn't match the one being worn in the Jaguar.

Decide for yourself whether it was Jose in the car, but one thing is certain: Even after his dismissal, Mourinho continues to be divisive.
