Best Booking for Wyatt Family in Buildup to WWE Royal Rumble 2016

The Wyatt Family is one of the most revered stables in recent wrestling history, and it is imperative that WWE books the group properly heading into the 2016 Royal Rumble and the Road to WrestleMania.

On the mic, there are few wrestlers in the world as captivating as Bray Wyatt, and his brothers Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman help make the stable the most dominant force in the company.

With the proper booking heading into the Royal Rumble, The Wyatt Family could become one of the top attractions at WrestleMania 32.

Set Stage for Royal Rumble Dominance

WWE has been setting up Strowman as the most dangerous member of the entire Wyatt Family, and his raw strength and brutal nature make him an ideal candidate to dominate the field in the Royal Rumble Battle Royal.

Instead of letting The Wyatt Family wrestle in more meaningless matches against The Dudley Boyz, WWE should allow Wyatt to do what he does best and set the stage for the pay-per-view by cutting mysterious promos.

Talking to the camera about the destruction his brothers will cause in the Battle Royal would ring true, because the four men have shown their power against Team Extreme and The Brothers of Destruction.

With few fans doubting that The Wyatt Family will play a major role in the Royal Rumble match itself, the next several weeks should be spent on building to that bout, not beating jobbers in an effort to make the stable look strong.

Take Down The League of Nations

Roman Reigns has been focused on Sheamus and The League of Nations, but several weeks ago on Raw, WWE teased the fans with a faceoff between The Wyatt Family and the newest heel stable.

Before the Royal Rumble, the two groups should go to battle once again.

The Wyatt Family doen’t need another win after beating Team Extreme twice, but it wouldn’t hurt to build some momentum. The League of Nations is comprised of several marquee wrestlers, and The Wyatt family would look very strong by destroying the stable one at a time.

Not only would The Wyatt Family's dismantling The League of Nations make the heel group look unstoppable heading into the January PPV, but it would also give WWE an excuse to move Sheamus away from the world title scene.

The League of Nations means nothing, so let The Wyatt Family tear it apart.

Continue Dismantling Dudley Boyz

Another possible option for The Wyatt Family heading into Royal Rumble is to continue working the same program with The Dudley Boyz. It’s getting old fast, but one more month of the battles isn’t too much to ask.

Luckily, wrestling fans never get tired of seeing hardcore action, which is exactly what Team Extreme brought to the table. If the men can continue to use tables, chairs and Kendo sticks in the weeks leading to the Rumble, this could still be an entertaining angle.

The battle against Team Extreme—or what’s left of it after Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2015—should just be a holdover, though, that throws the wrestling fans off the scent of The Wyatt Family’s utter domination of the Royal Rumble match.

The Dudley Boyz should be used in marquee storylines, but for now, all they should be doing is making Bray Wyatt and his brothers look like the most unstoppable force in the wrestling business today.
