NXT TakeOver London: Full Preview, Match Card and More for December 16
NXT is usually filmed in Florida at Full Sail University, but the upcoming TakeOver special will see WWE's developmental system take the show over to London, England.
The crowds in Europe are always energetic. They don't get to see the product live very often, so they make the most out of every show.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Wednesday's event is going to be wild. Here's a look at the card as it stands, according to WWE.com:
- Asuka vs. Emma
- Apollo Crews vs. Baron Corbin
- Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder vs. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady (NXT Tag Team Championships)
- Bayley vs. Nia Jax (NXT Women's Championship)
- Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe (NXT Championship)
It's possible another match will be added at the last minute, but as of now, we have these five bouts to look forward to.
The fact that two of the five matches involve women shows you just how important that division is to NXT's success, and both contests have a lot of potential.
Asuka and Emma have been feuding since the Japanese Diva destroyed Dana Brooke at TakeOver: Respect. Emma is more experienced than Brooke, so she should put up a better fight.
If Emma were to get the win, even with heel tactics, it would give her a big boost. Asuka has been booked as a tough-as-nails wrestler who dominates her opponents, so the loss would definitely affect her momentum.
As far as Bayley's title defense is concerned, she is facing someone unlike any other Diva who has held the Women's Championship.
Jax is a powerful and dominant figure capable of lifting most opponents with one arm. Her size works to her advantage because few Divas could ever lift her off the mat.
To win the title this early in her run would show how much faith WWE has in Jax. The division is still trying to recover from the loss of Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch, and a great way to build new stars is to give them a big win over an established name.
This will also be a big test for Jax. She is unproven in big match situations, and putting her up against Bayley is a great way for management to gauge her potential.
When it comes to the tag team division, the titles have bounced around a little in recent months. The Vaudevillains won them in August, only to lose them to Dash and Dawson two months later.
"The revival rolls into #NXTTakeOverLondon tonight. Tickle Me Enzo and Big Bird Cass will do what they do best; talk a lot and lose.
— Dash (@DashWilderWWE) December 16, 2015"
A team needs more than a couple of months with the belts to establish themselves, but the challengers in this match are more deserving of a title reign than any other duo in NXT.
Amore and Big Cass have carved out a loyal following. They are like The New Day of NXT with regard to always being entertaining and having more fun than anyone else in the ring.
Amore and Cassady have been waiting too long. It's time to either bring them up to the main roster or give them a run with the Tag Team Championships.
The match that will create the most buzz will likely be the main event featuring Balor defending his NXT title against Samoa Joe.
It was just a few months ago that these two men were declared the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, and now they are bitter enemies.
Joe's turn gives the NXT roster a major heel, which is something that has been missing since Kevin Owens moved to the main roster. Even if he doesn't win the title, Joe will cement himself as the top bad guy.
Balor has had some great matches since winning the NXT Championship, but this could end up being the best. Joe has a reputation for producing memorable performances, and Balor is the kind of opponent he can create magic with.
The one big thing you have to remember is that the time difference in London will make it so fans in the United States will see the show at 3 p.m. ET, so plan your day accordingly.
