Allen was available to play on Monday against Cleveland, confirmed Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal.
Veteran Allen a Lockdown Defender
Allen, 34, has made a career as one of the best defensive stoppers in the NBA. His time in Memphis has been fruitful, as he's found a home with one of the league's most physical, defensively sound teams.
The team missed Allen's defense while he was sidelined. He's averaged double-digit points just once in his career, so the Grizzlies didn't have an issue replacing his offensive output, but they were weaker on the other end of the court without him.
Allen is averaging 6.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game this season.
