Serena Williams Hailed a Cab to the Finish Line of Her Own Charity Race

If there were an award for most resourceful athlete of the year, Serena Williams would've claimed it. (Emphasis on resourceful.)

The tennis superstar and Sports Illustrated's 2015 Sportsperson of the Year opted not to finish her own charity race, the Serena Williams Live Ultimate Run, Sunday in Miami Beach, Florida.

Instead, she caught a taxi to the finish line.

Williams owned it too, admitting in a Facebook video that she "didn't run the whole way this year" while saying she will do so next year:
