Liverpool Transfer News: Lucas Moura Comments on Reds, Arsenal Rumours
Liverpool have been dealt a hammer blow in their reported pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura after the Brazilian committed his future to the Ligue 1 club.
The 23-year-old has been only a bit-part player at the Parc des Princes this season and has previously been linked with a move to both the Reds and Arsenal, per Ita SportPress (h/t the Telegraph).
However, while he admitted to being flattered by the interest from the Premier League, Moura has effectively ruled out a move away from Paris, at least in the short term, per Brazilian TV channel SporTV (via Liam Corless in the Mirror):

"I am pleased with the interest of big clubs in me—if it is true it shows that they are watching me and happy with my football. But my head is focused on PSG, I never thought of leaving here and I want to achieve my goals here."
Moura signed for PSG from Sao Paulo in 2012 for €45 million amid strong interest from Manchester United.
In his subsequent four campaigns with the French giants he has fashioned a reputation for mixing stellar performances with a anonymous showings, per Ligue 1 writer Andrew Gibney:
As can be seen below, Moura is blessed with phenomenal attacking skill and can terrorise defences with his directness on either flank or playing through the middle:
He has been trusted to start 12 of PSG's 18 league games this season by manager Laurent Blanc—and returned four goals and one assist—but was only once in the starting XI during the recently finished Champions League group campaign, per WhoScored.com.
The suspicion is that he could be turned into a genuine superstar if he was nurtured by the right coach, and the prospect of him playing under Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is an exciting one.
Moura could add a level of invention currently lacking in the Liverpool squad, especially out wide, which would bring a new dimension to their play.
However, the Brazil international looks set to stay at PSG at least until the end of the season.
