Vince McMahon Returns to WWE at Raw to Confront Roman Reigns

Vince McMahon doesn't often show his face on WWE television, but when he does, it's usually for something big.

WWE's chairman returned to Raw on Monday night to confront Roman Reigns for his actions at the Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view Sunday.

After losing to Sheamus in a TLC match, Reigns attacked him, Alberto Del Rio and Rusev with a steel chair because The League of Nations members had cost Reigns the world title. He soon attacked WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H with the chair, put him through the Spanish announce table and speared him to the floor.

McMahon came to the ring Monday and told Reigns to apologize, but he did not. Sheamus then came to the ring and said he would put the title on the line in a rematch against Reigns, but McMahon added a stipulation: Should Reigns lose, he would be fired.

Despite outside interference from The League of Nations and McMahon, Reigns won the world title.

Reigns also hit McMahon with a Superman punch before putting Sheamus away with a spear to become a two-time champion. Jimmy Traina of Fox Sports captured a Vine of Reigns' right hand hitting McMahon in the face:

It'll be interesting to see how WWE uses the McMahon family going forward. If Triple H is out for an extended period of time, it's uncertain if that will open the door for Vince to be on TV more and how much power Stephanie McMahon will have. The storyline is a mystery, but a heel Vince McMahon is always good for television.
