Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He is a nice pickup for the Miami defense, but Moore does come with some question marks. He was cut by the New York Giants after a fight with teammate Cullen Jenkins stemming over gifts wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. handed out at practice Friday, per Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk:
"Beckham brought dozens of pairs of Beats by Dre headphones to practice on Friday to give them as gifts to his teammates. But some players took more than one, and defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins was seen leaving the locker room with several pairs.
That angered Moore, and he and Jenkins got into a fight, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. It was after that fight that the Giants decided to cut Moore.
"
According to Smith, it was "the last straw for Moore."
"Giants coach Tom Coughlin has said multiple times that Moore needs to do a better job of conducting himself as a professional. Coughlin was particularly upset with Moore after he picked up a costly roughing the passer penalty against the [Philadelphia] Eagles, and Coughlin chewed out Moore after a fight on the practice field in training camp.
"
If he can get in the good graces of the Miami coaching staff, Moore could be a great addition. He showed promise with 5.5 sacks in 2014. The Dolphins could use help getting to the quarterback, as they are tied for 21st with the 3-10 Cleveland Browns with just 26 sacks through 13 games.
