#4 Ole Miss @ South Carolina: Be careful here Mississippi! No one ever waltzes into Gamecock territory and thought it was a pleasant trip. In fact, no team has beaten South Carolina at home by more than seven in almost two years. And neither do the Bulldogs…Mississippi 27-21

#6 Cal @ Oregon: Pac-10 opener for both teams and a big game if the Golden Bears want to make a statement to the country. Oregon just came off a big win against Utah but they were overrated and so are the Ducks with no O-line or LeGarrette Blount. California gets the “Best” of Oregon… Cal 42-24

#9 Miami (FL) @ #11 Virginia Tech: Tech’s only loss was to undefeated Alabama.  But don’t let that fool you. They won last week against Nebraska but it took a last minute drive to do it. On the other hand this will be Miami’s third straight ranked opponent.  The question will be: Can Jacory Harris keep his magic going? The answer is yes…Miami 31-24
