Villarreal took on Real Madrid in La Liga on Sunday night, and the hosts raced out to an early lead.

Premier League fans might be surprised by the goalscorer, as Tottenham flop Roberto Soldado opened the scoring:

It could have been even worse for Real, but this nice passage early on saw Jonathan hit the post after great play from Cedric Bakambu:

Real Madrid had a chance to move to within two points of joint-leaders Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in La Liga with a win, but the match finished 1-0.
