Fred Jackson's Updated 2015 Fantasy Outlook After Thomas Rawls' Injury
The Seattle Seahawks are having a hard time keeping their running backs healthy in 2015.
With Marshawn Lynch already sidelined, his replacement, Thomas Rawls, broke his ankle in Week 14's 35-6 win over the Baltimore Ravens and was ruled out for the rest of the season, per the team. That's opened up the door for Fred Jackson to make an impact for fantasy owners.
Jackson was worth owning and stashing in the event Rawls was injured with Lynch sidelined. Now it's a reality, and the veteran presents a potential big bargain for daily fantasy and is likely to be on the waiver wire amid the fantasy playoffs.

The 34-year-old may be worth playing at your flex if he's the starter, though it is worth noting DuJuan Harris outworked Jackson, albeit ineffectively to the tune of 18 carries for just 42 yards.
In Seattle's ground-and-pound offense, Jackson has fantasy relevance. But given his age, don't expect him to be much more than a flex consideration.
