Thursday, Dec 31

Titans head coach Mike Mularkey told reporters Wright is "improving, but not there yet."

Wright Comments on Injury

Sunday, Dec. 27

Wright told reporters he re-injured the MCL in his left knee that forced him to miss time earlier in the season.

Wright Unable to Shake Injury Bug

Wright has already been banged up this season, missing three straight games from Weeks 9 through 11 with a knee injury. He was able to return for the Titans' next two games, but a rib injury suffered in Week 13 kept him out of action in Week 14 against the New York Jets

Despite all that time missed, Wright was the Titans' leader in receiving yards among wide receivers for most of the season. The former first-round pick is on pace for career lows in catches and yards, but he remains Tennessee's most effective pass-catcher on the outside.

The Titans are a team in transition right now with rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota still adjusting to the NFL. With Mariota Wright out for the season finale, the two will have to wait until next season to build on what they started in 2015.
