Jalen Saunders' Suspension Reportedly Extended: Latest Comments and Reaction
Chicago Bears practice squad wide receiver Jalen Saunders reportedly had his four-game suspension extended to 10 games Thursday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Saunders was originally suspended Nov. 11 for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. Now the second-year wideout will likely be forced to watch the remainder of the season from the sidelines.
The New York Jets selected Saunders in the fourth round of the 2014 draft, but his stint with Gang Green lasted just three games. Since then, the 23-year-old has been a member of the New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks.
