With all the sports talk revolving around the Golden State Warriors' 23-0 start and quest to make history, Nike is going into the well this holiday season with the re-release of the Air Jordan 11 on Dec. 12 to celebrate the Chicago Bulls' historic 1995-96 season.

The thing that separated the Air Jordan 11 from other releases is the leather wrapping around the shoe. It gave it a distinctive flair, perfectly fitting for a star like Michael Jordan.

Every Air Jordan release, whether it is a new shoe or a reissue from the past, is cause for celebration. Jordan sneakers, especially from the peak of his playing career, will be a hot commodity.

The 1995-96 Bulls have been the standard by which every NBA team has been measured over the last 20 years.
Jordan was at the center of everything, wearing these shoes every single night en route to winning his fourth of five career NBA MVP Awards.
