J.J. Watt is the leading vote-getter on the defensive side of the ball, edging out Josh Norman by a little under 20,000 votes.
The NFL's only unbeaten team is well-represented in the voting. In total, the Carolina Panthers have 13 players first or second in the ballots: Newton, Norman, Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis, Mike Tolbert, Greg Olsen, Kawann Short, Kurt Coleman, Joe Webb, Michael Oher, Trai Turner, Andrew Norwell and Ryan Kalil.
Of course, fan voting is only one part of the Pro Bowl voting process. The results are combined with the ballots from NFL players and coaches to determine who earns a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii. Two NFL legends will each captain a Pro Bowl team and draft their squads using the full roster pool.
Fans can continue casting their votes for the Pro Bowl on NFL.com until midnight on Dec. 14.
