The forward was the Defensive Player of the Year last season and was named NBA Finals MVP in 2014 against LeBron James and the Miami Heat. He is one of the premier defenders in the league—he posted an NBA-best 2.3 steals per game in 2014-15—and guards the opponent’s best player virtually every single game.

Leonard can also shoot the three, attack the basket off the dribble, create open looks for his teammates with penetration and score from mid-range when San Antonio has the ball.

He is averaging 20.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
