Public School NY X Jordan Collection Release Date, Pics and Retail Price
Sneaker fans have received a small taste of what to expect from the collaboration between Jordan Brand and Public School. On Monday, the two brands finally revealed at least a small part of the upcoming collection.
Two shoes—the PSNY x Air Jordan 12 and PSNY x Air Jordan Horizon—will anchor the collection. According to Sole Collector's Brendan Dunne, the PSNY x Air Jordan 12 will be the more expensive of the two, retailing for $300, with the PSNY x Air Jordan Horizon coming in at $225. Both will go on sale Saturday, Dec. 12.
The Jordan Brand shared photos of the shoes, with the PSNY x Air Jordan 12 followed by the PSNY x Air Jordan Horizon below:
In addition to the Jordan Brand logo on the heel of the shoe, the Air Jordan 12, which is made of premium suede, will also have the Public School logos on the inner tongue and sock liner, per Sneaker Bar Detroit.
The minimalist nature of the design will entice a large number of collectors, and coupled with the suede construction, the Air Jordan 12 will likely be the hotter of the two PSNY x Air Jordan releases.
The Air Jordan Horizon is configured a bit differently. Instead of suede, mesh serves as the outer fabric, per Brandon Richard of Sole Collector. As shown in the above photo, the Public School NY logo is also visible on the outer tongue, with the Jordan Brand and Public School trademarks prominently featured on the sock liner.
The sneakers will become available at the perfect time to be nestled under the Christmas tree for the shoe collector(s) in your immediate family.
A number of Nike releases are on the way in time for Christmas season, including the Kyrie 2, a new colorway for the KD 8 and the Make Up Class of '97 pack styled after He Got Game.
With so many anticipated sneakers hitting the market this month, you should make sure to keep the PSNY x Air Jordan near the top of your wishlist.
