Alvarez Provides Talented Bounce-Back Candidate
The 25-year-old was Miami's Opening Day starter in 2015, but he pitched in only four games because of a shoulder injury. He went 0-4 with a 6.45 ERA. This came a season after Alvarez was a National League All-Star, posting a 12-7 record with a 2.65 ERA.
