Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press noted Quin returned for Friday's session.
Quin a Consistent Playmaker from Detroit Secondary
Since arriving in Detroit in 2013, Quin has been a consistent member of the Lions secondary. He intercepted three passes in his first season and followed up with an NFL-best seven picks in 2014, earning a trip to the Pro Bowl in the process.
The 29-year-old hasn't replicated that same success in 2015. But he does have three interceptions, and the Lions defense is still much better with him on the field.
Luckily for Detroit, it can rely on Isa Abdul-Quddus to take over for Quin at free safety if Quin is forced to the sidelines again. Abdul-Quddus has played well against the run and in pass coverage as well.
