Ronda Rousey Tops Yahoo List of 2015's Most Searched Athletes

MMA superstar Ronda Rousey was the most searched-for athlete in the world in 2015, according to search engine Yahoo.

That's despite the previously undefeated fighter losing her bantamweight title to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November.

The list is dominated by female athletes, with Tiger Woods the highest-placed male, despite another underwhelming year plagued by poor form and injury.

Boxers Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao, and United States women's national soccer team goalkeeper Hope Solo also make the list.
