Liverpool Transfer News: Alberto Moreno, Real Madrid Rumours Addressed by Agent
Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno is a target for Spanish giants Real Madrid, according to the 23-year-old's agent.
Moreno has enjoyed some impressive recent form after returning to the Reds first team under manager Jurgen Klopp, having been sidelined under previous boss Brendan Rodgers.
His consistently excellent performances have drawn the eye of Los Blancos, but his agent, Javier Moya, told Spanish outlet Radio 4G that Moreno remains happy at Anfield, per Metro's Lee Thomas-Mason:

"It’s logical that they ask about such an important player. They are asking about him. Important teams from Spain and other places are asking. If a team like Real Madrid speak with us and Liverpool are satisfied with the operation, they could talk. If a team with the substance of Real Madrid makes an offer, it would be a joy for him.
It’s difficult. Everyone knows the importance of Real Madrid but Liverpool have five European Cups. You have to give the first step to Liverpool. He loves it [in Liverpool]. He’s getting to know another culture and playing in one of the most important leagues. And, above all, he’s in the first team.
"
Moreno arrived at Anfield from Sevilla for £12 million in August 2014 and endured a mixed debut season as he and Liverpool struggled in the Premier League.

He was dropped from the first team by Rodgers for the first five matches of the 2015-16 Premier League league season, and he was replaced by 18-year-old Joe Gomez, an indication that he was perhaps not long for the Merseyside club.
An injury to Gomez and the arrival of Klopp have seen Moreno restored to the starting XI, and his enthusiasm at working under the German manager is clear, per Liverpool:
Aside from the Capital One Cup clash with Bournemouth, Moreno has played every minute of Klopp's reign and proven he is worthy of his first-team spot.
Bleacher Report's Jack Lusby recently named him as the Reds' best player for November.
The defensive side of his game has improved dramatically in recent matches, and his terrific pace makes him a genuine threat going forward.
Liverpool would likely be loath to let him go, as not only is he one of the club's brightest young stars but Klopp is also lacking cover at left-back with Gomez injured—and naturally right-footed; Jose Enrique is also a shadow of the player he once was.
But the Spaniard could well be tempted by a move to Real should Los Blancos make a genuine attempt to sign him.
Though Liverpool are on the rise under Klopp, they still remain some way behind Real in the European hierarchy, and Moreno could be attracted by the promise of competing for La Liga and Champions League titles.
However, he is clearly enjoying his time at Liverpool, and he is contracted to the club until 2019, meaning only a significant offer could persuade the Reds into selling.
