WWE NXT: Full Preview, Match Card and More for December 2
Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for this week's episode of WWE NXT, where we take a spoiler-free look at what's in store for the developmental brand's upcoming episode.
NXT TakeOver: London airs in roughly two weeks, which means the episodes of NXT between now and then will be devoted to filling up the rest of the card.
Only two matches have been announced for the event thus far. Apollo Crews will battle the nearly unstoppable Baron Corbin, while Finn Balor will defend his NXT Championship against Samoa Joe.

But that's still a few weeks away. For now, let's take a look at what's in store for this week's show.
The Women
This week's episode of NXT will feature two matches from the women's division. The first will see newcomer Nia Jax battle fan-favorite Blue Pants.
Jax is being built up as an unstoppable monster in the division, so it seems as if the result of this bout is a foregone conclusion.
Since Blue Pants still hasn't become an official member of the roster, her position calls for her to put over rising stars to make them look stronger.
Jax is going to a force to be reckoned with in the Divas division someday, but before she makes it to the main roster, she has to prove she is worthy of a spot.
Leva Bates is an accomplished wrestler with years of experience. Her popularity will help Jax garner the heel heat she needs to be taken seriously.
The second bout from the ladies of NXT will feature Emma taking on Gionna Daddio, who has started using the name Liv Morgan.
Again, this seems like an easy outcome to predict. Emma is currently on a path that will lead her to a match with Asuka, and an easy victory is a good way to build her up heading into what is sure to be a showdown at TakeOver: London.
How Morgan performs in this match is still important. She is one of the newer talents on the roster, and a good performance against someone as talented as Emma will go a long way.
The Tag Teams
This week's tag team contest will have Jason Jordan and Chad Gable taking on the former NXT tag team champions The Vaudevillains.
Simon Gotch and Aiden English are fresh off an unsuccessful attempt to challenge Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder for the titles, so they will be looking to get some momentum back with a win.
However, Gable and Jordan impressed a lot of people with their performance at the last TakeOver special, so there is a good chance they will be receiving a push in the near future.
While this isn't officially a No. 1 contender's match, the winners will likely end up facing Dash and Dawson in London later this month.
Regardless of who wins, this should be a fun match between two teams with a lot of talent, potential and entertaining qualities.
The Men
James Storm will make his highly anticipated return to NXT this week for a match against Adam Rose. With the way things have been going for Rose lately, the outcome doesn't look promising for him in this one.
Storm has yet to be signed to a full contract, but it seems like it's only a matter of time. He brings a lot to the table in terms of experience, and he has loyal fans who will follow him from TNA.
Unless this is a squash match, this could be an entertaining contest. Rose is more talented than he is given credit for on the main roster. With enough time, he can put on a solid performance against Storm.
The final bout of the evening will see Tommaso Ciampa battle the No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship, Samoa Joe.
Without ruining the outcome, the spoiler report listed this as a violent and brutal fight, which means we are in store for a great main event.
We usually see Ciampa with his partner, Johnny Gargano, so it will be good to see him branch out on his own in a singles match.
If Ciampa was able to pick up a win, it would give him a huge boost, but that's a tall order. Joe is preparing to challenge Finn Balor for the NXT title at TakeOver: London, and losing a random match wouldn't do him any favors.
After four straight weeks that each featured a title on the line, it will be a nice change of pace to see the champions take a break so the rest of the roster can get some exposure.
What are you looking forward to on this week's episode of NXT?
