BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2015: Nominees, Reaction and More

Andy Murray, Tyson Fury and Jessica Ennis-Hill have all been included among the 12 nominees for the 2015 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.

The full list of contenders was announced on Monday and also includes Tour de France winner Chris Froome and Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton, per BBC Sport.

Sports writer Francis Keogh provided the full list of nominees, with the winner set to be revealed in Belfast on Dec. 20:

Hamilton won the award in 2014 after winning his second world championship, while Murray was honoured in 2013 following his Wimbledon triumph.

Sporting Intelligence indicates that Ennis-Hill is the favourite for the award after claiming a second world heptathlon title back in August just 13 months after the birth of her son:

However, Murray made a big claim for the award when he led Great Britain to Davis Cup glory on Sunday, while Fury's defeat of Wladimir Klitschko has put him firmly in the frame.
