Anfield Legend Steven Gerrard Returns to Melwood to Train with Liverpool

The good times are back at Liverpool.

A buoyant manager, back-to-back Premier League wins and the return of a legend to training at Melwood on Monday.

Steven Gerrard, who swapped Anfield for the Los Angeles Galaxy in the summer, is training with his boyhood club in the MLS offseason as Jurgen Klopp began preparations for the Reds' League Cup quarter-final against Southampton on Wednesday.

While Klopp has ruled out a playing return for the Englishman, he welcomes the experience Gerrard will offer to his players.

He looked to be enjoying himself despite miserable weather on Merseyside.

Gerrard played 708 times for Liverpool, scoring 186 goals.
