Liverpool have been awarded 135 penalties in the Premier League era, more than any other club in the English top flight.

Jurgen Klopp's side were given their latest opportunity from 12 yards on Sunday, with James Milner making no mistake in the Reds' 1-0 win over Swansea City.

Their total number, dating back to August 1992, eclipses Arsenal in second (126) and Manchester United in third (121), per Richard Innes in Daily Mirror.

Chelsea are next on the list with 116 spot-kicks, followed by Newcastle (111), Everton (104) and Tottenham Hotspur (101).

Admit it, you thought United would be top of the pile.
