Jamie Vardy's Rise from Non-League to Premier League Could Become Hollywood Film
Jamie Vardy's rise from non-league to Premier League could be turned into a Hollywood movie.
The Leicester City forward broke the record for goals in consecutive Premier League games on Saturday, making it 11 in a row during the 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
In overtaking Ruud van Nistelrooy, the England international has etched his name into the history books, and the Sun claims his story could reach Tinseltown next.

Per the paper:
"Screenwriter Adrian Butchart — who penned the smash hit football films Goal! — has meetings in Tinseltown this week about turning the former factory worker’s story into a blockbuster movie.
Five years ago Vardy was playing non-league football and juggling his football career with his day job making medical splints in his hometown of Sheffield.
And British-born Butchart told The Sun: “It’s the kind of story that if we made it up, people wouldn’t believe it.
“His achievements are incredible and to break the Premier League record with such a sublime goal against the biggest club in football pushed him to the top of our agenda.
“It’s amazing to think he was playing non league football and making medical splints for a living until so recently before breaking the record. It is the kind of role actors dream of.”
Butchart believes Hollywood A-listers Robert Pattinson, Andrew Garfield and Zac Efron all have potential to fill Vardy’s boots in a film version of his life.
"
The Vardy party will be reaching a whole new level if Butchart gets his way. Watch out America, the former Stocksbridge Park Steels striker is coming.
