With the playoff rankings and last week’s loss to Michigan State in the rearview mirror, No. 8 Ohio State blasted No. 10 Michigan in a 42-13 rout in Ann Arbor, Michigan Saturday afternoon.
The Buckeyes (11-1) pounded the Wolverines (9-3), piling up 370 rushing yards against a defense that ranked fourth nationally, allowing an average of 100.2 yards per game. Ezekiel Elliott was unstoppable, running for 214 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries, while J.T. Barrett registered 252 total yards (113 passing, 139 rushing) with four touchdown in the 29-point blowout.
Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock was solid, throwing for 263 yards and a touchdown before a Joey Bosa sack knocked him out of the game in the fourth quarter. The Wolverines gained just 364 yards as the Buckeyes stifled the running game.
