UK Back Pages: Chelsea Eye £30m Move for Shakhtar's Alex Teixeira

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said he is happy with his squad, but that has not stopped one paper linking the Premier League champions with a big move. 

According to Saturday's Daily Express, the Blues are keen to bring in £30m-rated Shakhtar star Alex Teixeira. 

The report says Chelsea have identified the attacking midfielder, who has scored 23 goals in 23 games this season, as the perfect player to play behind Diego Costa. 

The Times has announced its new signing—football writer Henry Winter—with all the pomp and ceremony of a big football transfer. 

Winter even has his own hashtag, and he debuts in the paper with a report that FA chairman Greg Dyke wants to reduce the number of teams in the Premier League from 20 to 18.

Elsewhere, Daniel Sturridge's injury woes, Manchester United's attacking impotence and the Davis Cup final are all given attention.
